Stampin' Up! Shades of Blue blog hop - NL

Hoi en welkom bij de maandelijkse Internationale Stamping INKspirations blog hop. Samen met 16 collega demonstratrices vanuit de hele wereld willen wij je wat inspiratie geven met de producten van Stampin' Up!. Het thema van deze maand is Monochrome Kleuren Uitdaging en dan met verschillende tinten blauw. Dit zijn de blauwe Stampin' Up! kleuren die ik voor dit project gebruikt heb.

Hi and welcome to the monthly International Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop. Together with 16 fellow demonstrators from all over the world we would like to give you some inspiration with the products of Stampin' Up!. The theme of this month is "Monochrome Color Challenge" with different shades of blue. These are het Stampin' Up! colors I used for my project.

Met de kleuren Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky en Orchid Oasis heb ik eerst een A5 vel Basic White cardstock bestempeld met de Sending Smiles stempelset.

With the colors Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Balmy Blue, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky and Orchid Oasis I stamped an A5 piece of Basic White cardstock with the Sending Smiles stamp set.

Na het bestempelen van het cardstock heb ik hiervan stroken gemaakt van 5,25 cm breed bij 14,85 cm hoog. Ik heb de randjes afgerond met de Trio pons en met dezelfde pons heb ik er een gaatje ingeponst zodat ik daar een stukje Denim lint kon doen dichtgebonden met een stukje InColor Bakers Twine.

After stamping the cardstock I cut it in pieces of 5,25 cm wide by 14,85 cm high. I rounded the edges with the Trio Punch and with the same punch I punched a hole in the middle of the top. Through this hole I put some Denim ribbon and I tied the ribbon with some InColor Bakers Twine.

Ineens waren het prachtige boekenleggers, maar ik miste toch nog iets. Pasgeleden had ik een boekenlegger ontvangen van mijn teamgenootje Sarine Zijderveld van Stamping Matters en ik herinnerde mij dat ze wat gouden accenten had toegebracht. Zo prachtig! Dus ik heb er stiekem wat Golden Flakes aan toegevoegd. Niemand zeggen hoor, want het is natuurlijk niet blauw.

And there I had 4 bookmarks, but I was missing something. A few weeks ago I received an amazing bookmark from my teammember Sarine Zijderveld of Stamping Matters and I remembered she used some golden accents. Just stunning! So I sneaked in some gold with the Golden Flakes. Don't tell anyone because it is not blue hihi....

Stampin' Up! Let's hear it for the boys - NL

Hoi en welkom bij de Around the World On Wednesday Blog Hop onder leiding van de geweldige Angie McKenzie uit Amerika. Het thema van deze maand is "Let's hear it for the boys", oftewel alle aandacht voor de belangrijke mannen in mijn leven.

Hi and welcome to the monthly Around the World On Wednesday Blog Hop organized by the amazing Angie McKenzie from the States. The theme of this month is "Let's hear it for the boys" or putting the most important men in my life in the spotlights.

De allerbelangrijkste mannen in mijn leven zijn René (mijn man), Luuk (mijn zoon) en mijn allerliefste vader. Zonder hen was ik nooit geweest wie ik nu ben. Ik hou ontzettend veel van ze! Omdat Luuk en mijn vader niet graag centraal staan op Social Media, heb ik deze scrapbookpagina speciaal gemaakt voor mijn René.

The most important men in my live are René (my husband), my son Luuk and my dearest father. Without them I wasn't who I am at right now. I love them to the moon and back! Both Luuk as my father don't like to be in the spotlights on Social Media, so that is why I made this scrapbookpage especially for my René.

Een paar weken geleden heb ik tijdens een teamdag een techniekje geleerd om deze achtergrond te maken. Je doet wat inkt op een clear block, spuit daar wat water overheen en met een stukje plastic/windowsheet pak je de inkt op en plaats je dit op het papier. Als je dit met verschillende kleuren doet, dan kom je spelenderwijs op een prachtige achtergrond. Voor mijn achtergrond heb ik Tahitian Tide en Parakeet Party gebruikt.

A few weeks ago I learned how to make this background during a team gathering. You take a clear block and you tap some ink on it with the ink pad. After that you spritz some water on it and you take it of with a piece of plastic or a window sheet like piece and than you tap the plastic on the paper. If you use different colours you will get this background. I used Tahitian Tide and Parakeet Party.

Met de Artistic Mix Decorative Masks heb ik ook nog wat accenten gemaakt en de Sending Love & Hugs komen uit de Sending Smiles bundel. Ik heb ook hier en daar een extra love gestempeld. Het is een eenvoudige lay-out, maar ik vind hem echt super geworden. Dat komt ook wel een beetje omdat mijn lieve René erop staat hoor. Want hij is echt mijn steun en toeverlaat.

With the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks I made some accents on the background and the Sending Love & Hugs are from the Sending Smiles bundle. Here and there I stamped the word love. It is a simple lay-out, but I love how it turned out. Perhaps it is because my dear René is on it. He is my everything in better or worse....
