Hoi en welkom bij de Around the World On Wednesday blog hop. Het thema van deze maand is "let's go on an adventure" oftewel laten we op avontuur gaan. En dat in het breedste zin van het woord. Bij avontuur denk ik aan vakantie, uitstapjes ondernemen, maar spelletjes, wandelen met de hond en ga zo maar door. Ik heb ook een persoonlijk avontuur die ik binnenkort ga beginnen en dat start met mijn 50ste verjaardag later deze maand. Voelt het echt anders als je 50 bent????? Geintje

Hi and welcome to the Around the World On Wednesday blog hop. The theme of this month is "let's go on an adventure". Let your imagination run wild with the interpretation of this theme. Well, I have been thinking about my upcoming vacation, excursions, games, walking with the dog and lots more. I also have been thinking about something very personal, my upcoming 50th birthday later this month. Does it feel different if you are 50???? Just kidding.

En mijn 50ste verjaardag wil ik natuurlijk niet alleen vieren. Dit avontuur ga ik graag samen aan met een stel lieve mensen om mij heen. Om ze uit te nodigen heb ik deze kaartjes gemaakt.

And I don't want to celebrate my 50th birthday alone. I love to go on this adventure with all my loved ones beside me. To invite them I made these cards.

Met de Feestballonnenstansen heb ik een malletje gemaakt en deze heb ik gebruikt om in verschillende kleuren de ballonnen op de kaart te blenden met een Blending Brush. Voor elke kaart heb ik weer een andere samenstelling van kleuren gebruikt, maar voor deze kaart heb ik de kleuren Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Azure Afternoon en Highland Heather gebruikt. De sliertjes en de tekst komen uit de Feestballonnen stempelset. Als laatste heb ik wat sequins toegevoegd.

With the Festive Balloons dies I made a template and I used this template to blend the balloons on the cardstock in different colors with the Blending Brush. For each card a used a different combination of colors, but for this card I used the colors Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Azure Afternoon and Highland Heather. The strings and the text are from the Festive Balloons stamp set. Last but not least I added some sequins.
