Stamping INKspirations blog hop - sketch challenge

Hoi en welkom bij de Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop onder leiding van de geweldige Angie McKenzie uit Amerika. Samen met een aantal van mijn collega demonstratrices van over de hele wereld willen wij je wat inspiratie geven met de producten van Stampin' Up!. Het thema van deze maand is onderstaande sketch.

Hi and welcome to the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop organized by the amazing Angie McKenzie from the United States. Together with a few of my fellow demonstrators from all over the world we would like to inspire you with our projects made with the products of Stampin' Up!. The theme of this month is this sketch.

Dit is de Sketch en ik heb er best wat moeite mee gehad om er een kaart mee te maken die ik zelf leuk vind. En eerlijk? Ik ben er nog steeds niet helemaal over uit hihi.... Maar ik hou in gedachte, dat wij zelf onze meest kritieke kijker zijn. Dit is de kaart die ik met de Sketch gemaakt heb.

This is the Sketch and I had a hard time making a card with it I liked myself. And to be honest? I am not completely sure I like my version now hihi...... But I just kept in my mind that we are our own biggest critic. This is the card I made.

Met de Zoo Crew product collectie heb ik deze kaart gemaakt. De diertjes heb ik uit het DSP geknipt en daarna ingekleurd met de Stampin' Blends. Heerlijk om met deze diertjes te spelen op de kaart.

With the Zoo Crew Suite Collection I made this card. The animals I cut out of the DSP and I colored them with the Stampin' Blends. I love to play with these animals on this card.

Around the World on Wednesday - Sketch Challenge

Hoi en welkom bij de maandelijkse Internationale Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop georganiseerd door de geweldige Angie McKenzie. Als thema deze maand heeft Angie ons de volgende Sketch gegeven.

Hi and welcome to the monthly International Around The World on Wednesday Blog Hop organized by the amazing Angie McKenzie. As theme of this month Angie gave us the following Sketch.

Toen ik deze Sketch zag, wist ik al meteen met welke producten ik aan de slag wilde. De nieuwe Countryside Inn Suite Collectie. Het Country Inn Designer Series Paper is echt geweldig, vooral omdat ik heel erg van de blauwe tinten houd. Dit is mijn uitvoering van de Sketch.

When I saw this Sketch I knew right away I wanted to use the new Countryside Inn Suite Collection. I especially love the Country Inn Designer Series paper, because I just love all the blues in it. This is what I made with the Sketch.

Naast het prachtige Countryside Inn DSP heb ik ook nog de Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder gebruikt om de mat Boho Blue cardstock the embossen. Gewoon om het net even wat extra's te geven. De bloemen heb ik gestempeld met de Petal Park stempelset. De tekstlabel heb ik gemaakt met de Countryside Corners bundel en de tekst zelf komt uit de Nederlandse stempelset Iets Bijzonders.

Besides the beautiful Countryside Inn DSP I used the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder to emboss a mat of Boho Blue card stock. Just to give the background something special. The flowers are stamped with the Petal Park stamp set en for the text label I used the Countryside Corners bundle. The text "gefeliciteerd" was stamped with the Dutch stamp set Iets Bijzonders.

Around the World on Wednesday - Het is lente

Hoi en welkom bij de Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop. Het thema van deze maand is Lente. Waar denk jij aan als je aan de lente denkt? Ik denk aan een voorzichtig zonnetje, bloemen, jonge dieren, zachte en vrolijke kleuren.

Hi, and welcome to the Around The World on Wednesday Blog Hop. The theme of this month is "April showers bring May Flowers" or Spring. What do you think if you think of Spring? I think about a shy sun, flowers, young animals, soft and happy colors.

Zachte kleuren, check. Bloemen, check. Het gevoel van lente, check. Deze kaart was een onderdeel van het workshoppakket die ik elke maand ontwikkel. In het pakket stond de Hello Irresistible Designer Papier centraal. Prachtige zachte kleuren als Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Soft Seafoam, Flirty Flamingo en de terugkerende kleur Pretty Peacock.

Soft colors, check. Flowers, check. The feeling of spring, check. I made this card as a part of my own Stamp Along Workshop Thuis-Editie which I make every month. In the spotlight we used the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper. Beautiful colors like Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Soft Seafoam, Flirty Flamingo and the returning color Pretty Peacock.

Ik heb geen gebruik gemaakt van een bepaalde techniek, maar in deze kaart zitten wel een paar kleine techniekjes. Ik heb niet alleen beide zijdes van hetzelfde vel DSP gebruikt voor deze kaart, maar ik heb bijvoorbeeld het Touw met zilverdraad uit elkaar gehaald en gebruikt op de kaart.

I did not use a big technique to make this card, but there are a few small techniques I used. The biggest one is that I used both sides of one piece of DSP for this card. I also took a piece of Silver Threaded Twine and I unraffled it. I did use it like that on the card.

Stamping INKspirations blog hop - technique challenge

Hoi en welkom bij de Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop. Het thema van deze maand is een Techniek uitdaging met in de hoofdrol Stansen. Voor mijn project heb ik de prachtige producten uit de Blij en Bloemrijk product pakket gebruikt.

Hi and welcome to the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop. The theme of this month is a Technique Challenge. The challenge is Die-cutting. For my project I used the amazing products of the Irresistible Bloom collection.

En dit is het kaartje dat ik gemaakt heb. De techniek met de stansen zie je op de achtergrond van de kaart. Ik heb in 2 kleuren de cirkel uitgestanst. De stukjes papier die je er normaal gesproken uitstanst, heb ik weer teruggestopt, maar dan in de andere kleur. Bij deze kaart heb ik stukjes Soft Sea Foam in de Basic White cirkel gedaan. Het is heel subtiel, maar het geeft een super leuk effect.

And this is the card I made. The technique with the Die Cuts I used was for the background. I don't know what the technique is called, but I cut 2 circles out of 2 pieces of card stock. Normally some pieces of card stock will fall out of the die cut. Those pieces I put back in the circle of the other color of card stock. For this card I added pieces of Soft Sea Foam in the circle of Basic White card stock. It is very subtle, but I love the effect.

Dit is precies hetzelfde kaartje, maar dan gemaakt van de andere kleur cardstock. In dit geval heb ik de Basic White stukjes cardstock in de cirkel Soft Sea Foam gedaan. Op deze manier heb je 2 kaartjes in één klap. De gestempelde bloemen heb ik gestempeld met de Nederlandse stempelset "Blij en Bloemrijk". Op de achtergrond heb ik een stukje Hello Irresistible DSP gebruikt en uiteraard ook de Blij en Bloemrijk stansen. Deze prachtige producten zijn tijdelijk Online verkrijgbaar.

This is exact the same card, but for this card I used the other color card stock. In this case I took the Basic White card stock pieces and put them in the circle of Soft Sea Foam. This way you have two cards in one go. Love it! The stamped flowers are made with the Dutch version of the Irresistible Blooms stamp set and for the background I used the Hello Irresistible DSP. The circles and leaves are die-cut with the Irresistible Flowers dies. These products are temporarily and only online available. Aren't they gorgeous?

Around the World on Wednesday - Color Challenge

Hoi en welkom bij de maandelijkse Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop. Deze maand hebben wij de een kleurenchallenge gekregen. We "moesten" minstens 3 van onderstaande kleuren gebruiken.

Hi and welcome to the monthly Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop. The theme of this month is a color challenge. We had to use at least 3 of the colors below.

De kleuren zijn gekozen door alle teamleden van deze hop. De kleuren van de challenge zijn: Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, Pale Papaya, Pool Party, Mint Macaron, Soft Seafoam, Petal Pink en Starry Sky. Wat een prachtige kleuren zijn het toch. Het was moeilijk kiezen.

The colors were chosen by all the team members of this hop. The colors chosen are: Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, Pale Papaya, Pool Party, Mint Macaron, Soft Seafoam, Petal Pink and Starry Sky. These colors are all amazing so it was very hard to choose.

Ik heb ervoor gekozen om de kleuren voor de achtergrond te gebruiken. Van wat restant stukken cardstock heb ik verschillende strookjes gesneden en voor deze kaart heb ik mijn meest favoriete tinten gebruikt, de blauw/groen tinten. En ik geef eerlijk toe.... Ik heb een klein beetje gesmokkeld, want ik heb ook wat Basic Black cardstock gebruikt. Niet verklappen he!

I used the colors of the challenge to make the background of this card. I cut some strips out of different pieces of card stock and I used my most favorite color group... The Blue/Greens. Oké, oké I admit. I also added some "forbidden" Basic Black card stock, but I just had to... Don't tell anyone, promised?

Na het maken van het eerste kaartje bleven de roze tinten over. Hiervan heb ik precies hetzelfde kaartje gemaakt. Wat is jouw favoriet?
