Around The World On Wednesday blog hop - CASe a teammember

Welkom bij de maandelijkse Around The World On Wednesday Blog Hop!

Welcome to the monthly Around The World On Wednesday Blog Hop!  The theme of this month is CASe a team member. For me that is Satomi Wellard. Satomi makes the most beautiful cards and this is the card that inspired me to make mine (click here to go to her original blog post).

To make this card Satomi used the Floating technique. Originally you need the Press 'N Seal to make this card, but you hardly can buy this in The Netherlands. I liked it so much that Satomi made two cards in one go, that I found a solutions for the Press 'N Seal problem. I used some Window Sheet to get the same results.

And these are my cards. To make these cards I used a piece of Window Sheet of 10 cm by 13 cm and on this piece I glued strips of Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper of 1 cm wide. Between every strip I left some space free.

From this piece of Window Sheet I cut a scalloped rectangle with the Scalloped Contours Dies. I used the outside to make this card. For the middle of the card I used the Hand-Penned stamp set to stamp the flower. I used the colors Mint Macaron, Daffodil Delight and Blushing Bride.

For this card I used the rectangle and I stamped the same flower to put on the card. This time I used the dies to cut out the flower.

This technique was new to me. Do you want to know what Satomi Wellard made? Please click on the button below to go to her blog.
