Stampin' Up! Kylie's International Highlights Blog Hop October 2018

Vorige maand zat ik helaas niet bij de Top 10 met de meeste stemmen, maar ik ga het gewoon nog een keertje proberen. Het thema van Kylie's International Highlights Blog Hop is 'Sorry' en dan in de breedste zin van het woord. Ik vond dat nog best wel lastig moet ik zeggen en de meeste ideëen zijn in de prullenbak beland. Maar uiteindelijk heb ik voor dit eenvoudige kaartje gekozen.

Unfortunately, last month I wasn't one of the lucky ones in the Top 10 with the most votes, but I am going to try again this month. The theme of Kylie's International Highlights Blog Hop is 'Sorry' and that could be sorry for anything. It wasn't easy for me to make a card, because I had lots of ideas, but most of them landed in the bin. I finally chose this simple and clean card.

Ik heb een basiskaart van Thick Whisper White genomen en daarop heb ik een cirkel gesponst met behulp van een mal. Ik heb de kleuren Smokey Slate en Tuxedo Memento Black gebruikt om te sponsen. Met behulp van de Stamparatus heb ik de boom uit de Nederlandse stempelset Puur Natuur gestempeld met Tuxedo Memento Black inkt. Ik heb de Stamparatus gebruikt, zodat ik meerdere keren op dezelfde plek kon stempelen om de boom gitzwart te krijgen. De tekst uit de stempelset heb ik in Smokey Slate gestempeld.

First of all I made a mask of a circle and I sponged the circle on the base of the card with Smokey Slate and Tuxedo Memento Black. After that I stamped the tree of the dutch version of the Rooted in Nature stamp set (Puur Natuur) with the help of the Stamparatus. The Stamparatus made it possible to stamp the tree several times at the same spot to make a crisp print. The translation of the Dutch text is something like you don't know what to say. I stamped the text with Smokey Slate ink. 

Om de kaart toch iets extra's te geven heb ik met een Aquapen wat Frost White Shimmer Paint op de cirkel aangebracht. Helaas krijg ik het niet helemaal goed op de foto, maar in het echt is het echt prachtig geworden, tenminste vind ik zelf.

To give the card something extra I added some Frost White Shimmer Paint with a Aquapen. Unfortunately the photo is not doing justice to the card and the shimmer, but in real life it is really beautiful.
