Welkom bij de maandelijkse Global Creative INKspirations Blog Hop. Het thema van deze maand is kerst. Nou dat was niet moeilijk, want ik zit middenin het maken van mijn kerstkaarten. Omdat deze blog hop internationaal is, zal ik deze blog ook in mijn beste Engels schrijven.
Welcome to the monthly Global Creative INKspirations Blog Hop. The theme of this month is Christmas. Well, that was not difficult, because I am in the middle of making my Christmas cards at this moment. Because this is an International blog hop, I will write my blog in my native language Dutch and in my best of English.
Toen ik voor het eerst de najaars-/wintercatalogus in handen kreeg, viel mijn blik meteen op de geweldige Perfectly Plaid Bundle. Deze bundle bestaat uit de Perfectly Plaid stempelset en de Pine Tree Punch. Het is zo makkelijk om eventjes de boompjes uit te ponsen.
When I looked into the Occasions Catalog for the first time the Perfectly Plaid Bundle draw my attention right away. The Perfectly Plaid stamp set and the Pine Tree punch make the bundle. This bundle makes it so easy to make some trees quickly en everywhere.
Voor dit kaartje heb ik een basiskaart van Night of Navy cardstock gemaakt van 21 cm bij 14,5 cm. Gerild op 10,5 cm en dubbel gevouwen. Met de ena grootste stans van de Layering Circles dies heb ik uit de voorkant een scalloped circle gestanst. Onderaan de kaart heb ik een strook Gold Foil geplakt van 3,5 cm bij 10,5 cm. Hierop zit een strookje Shaded Spruce cardstock van 3 cm bij 10,5 cm en als laatste zit er een strook Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper op van 2,5 cm bij 10,5 cm. Als laatste heb ik de Merry Christmas uit de Perfectly Plaid stempelset gestempeld in Night of Navy en dit heb ik geknipt en op de kaart geplakt met zwarte Stampin' Dimensionals. Om een klein beetje bling toe te voegen heb ik Metallic Gold Pearls op de kaart geplakt.
For this card I took a base card of Night of Navy card stock. In the Netherlands we work in centimeters, so I am sorry about that. With almost the biggest die out of the Layering Circles Dies I cut a scalloped circle in the front piece of the card. On the front I also glued a piece of Gold Foil of 1 1/2". On top of that I glued a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock of 1 1/4" and on top of that I glued a piece of the Wrapped in Plaid Designer Series Paper of 1". I stamped the Merry Christmas with Night of Navy ink, cut it by hand and stuck it on my card with the Black Stampin' Dimensionals. To give the card some extra bling I added some Metallic Gold Pearls.
Aan de binnenkant van de kaart heb ik een stuk Whisper White cardstock geplakt van 10 cm bij 14 cm. Hierop heb ik eerst de hulstbladeren gestempeld en ingekleurd met de Stampin' Blends combo pack in de kleuren Real Red en Shaded Spruce. Met een Stitched Shaped Circle heb ik een cirkel gestanst uit een stuk Gold Foil. Deze cirkel heb ik precies middenin de scalloped circle geplakt.
On the inside of the card I added a piece of Whisper White card stock. On that card I stamped the holly leaves and colored them with the Stampin' Blends combo packs in Real Red and Shaded Spruce. With the Stitched Shaped Dies I made a circle and that circle I glued in the middle of the scalloped circle.
Met de Pine Tree Punch heb ik de kleine pop-up op de kaart gemaakt. Omdat de pine tree niet helemaal symetrisch is aan beide kanten heb ik twee keer een boomje geponst met de zijde boven die je nu ziet en één keer uit de andere zijde van hetzelfde DSP. Deze laatste vormt het midden van het denneboompje. Je vouwt alles dubbel en plakt het op elkaar. Als het goed is zijn de randen nu precies pas.
With the Pine Tree Punch I made a little pop-up on the card. Because the Pine Tree is not symmetrical I punched the tree two times with the side up you can see and one time out of the other side of the same piece of DSP. This last one will be the center of the tree. You fold the trees and than you can glue them together.
