Welcome to the monthly Global Creative INKspirations Blog Hop. The theme of this month is Christmas. Well, that is not difficult, because at this time I am really busy making all of my Christmas cards. Every year I sent about 40 to 50 Christmas cards, so I still have a few to go. Together with Tatiana Tobin from Australia and Angie McKenzie from the USA we hope to give you some inspiration. And because my native language is Dutch this blog will not only be in English but ofcourse also in Dutch.
Voor deze kaart heb ik een Very Vanilla basiskaart van 21 cm bij 14,5 cm gebruikt. Deze heb ik op 10,5 cm gerild en dubbelgevouwen. Met de Christmas Gleaming stempelset en Memento inkt heb ik op de basiskaart de hulst blaadjes gestempeld. Hierop heb ik een mat van Pretty Peacock cardstock van 7 cm bij 10 cm geplakt met Stampin' Dimensionals en daarop heb ik een stukje Very Vanilla cardstock geplakt van 6,5 cm bij 9,5 cm
For this card I used a piece of Very Vanilla card stock of 21 cm by 14,5 cm. I scored it at 10,5 cm and folded the card (sorry about the centimeters. Fortunately with our new Trimmer it makes it really easy. Even if you are used to inches). With the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and the memento ink I stamped the base card with the Holly stamp. After that I added a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock of 7 cm by 10 cm with Stampin' Dimensionals. On top of this I glued a piece of Very Vanilla card stock of 6,5 cm by 9,5 cm.
Uit een stuk Designer Series Paper heb ik met de Gleaming Ornaments ponsen twee kerstballen uitgeponst. Het Christmas Gleaming DSP wat ik gebruikt heb, is zo populair dat het helaas niet meer verkrijgbaar is, maar je kunt elk stukje DSP gebruiken wat je maar wilt. Voor de haakjes heb ik een stukje Copper Foil gebruikt. Op een stukje restant papier heb ik de hulstbladeren gestempeld met Memento inkt en de Merry Christmas met Pretty Peacock inkt. De hulstbladeren heb ik eerst ingekleurd met de Stampin' Blends in de kleuren Shaded Spruce en Real Red. Dit alles heb ik uitgeknipt en met dimensionals op de kaart geplakt.
From a piece of Designer Series paper I punched the ornaments with the Gleaming Ornaments Punches. For this card I used the Christmas Gleaming DSP, but this paper is so popular that it is sold out onfortunately. But.. you can use any DSP you want. On a piece of Very Vanilla I stamped the Holly Berries with Memento ink and the Merry Christmas with Pretty Peacock ink. After I colored the Holly Berries with the Stampin' Blends in the colors Shaded Spruce and Real Red I fussy cut the stamped images and glued it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Als laatste heb ik de hulst nog ingekleurd met de Clear Wink of Stella en heb ik een Star Designer Element aan de kaart toegevoegd.
Last but not least I added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the Holly and a Star Designer Element.
