Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop - Cupido

Welkom bij de internationale Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop. Het thema van deze maand is alles wat maar met Valentijn te maken heeft. Denk hierbij aan rood, roze, hartjes, liefde en ga zo maar door. Wij hier in Nederland vieren wel een beetje Valentijnsdag, maar niet zo groots als bijvoorbeeld in Amerika. Ik heb daarom mijn best gedaan om een echt Valentijnskaartje te maken. 

Welcome to the International Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop. The theme of this month is everything what has to do with Valentine. Thinking of reds, pinks, hearts, love and so on and so on. Here in The Netherlands Valentine's Day is not that big as in for example the USA, so I tried my best to make a real Valentine's day card. 

Voor mijn kaart heb ik eerst een achtergrond genomen van Shimmery White cardstock (13 cm bij 9 cm) en deze heb ik met de Blending Brushes bewerkt met de kleuren Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade en Real Red. Nadat alles geblend was, heb ik met de Versamark inkpad een gedeelte van de kaart bestempeld en daarop heb ik de Gilded Leafing embellishments gedaan. Is dit goud niet prachtig! Het is alleen al leuk om naar die prachtige gouden flokken te kijken als ze uit het potje komen. Het geheel heb ik op een basiskaart geplakt van Cherry Cobbler cardstock. 

For my card I used a piece of Shimmery White card stock (13 cm by 9 cm) and I blended it with the new Blending Brushes and the colors Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade en Real Red. After I finished the blending I took the Versamark ink and added the Gilded Leafing embellishments. Isn't that gold amazing! I just love to look at the golden flakes as they come out of the can. This I glued to a base card of Cherry Cobbler card stock.

Om de kaart te versieren, heb ik de Many Hearts Dies gebruikt om deze prachtige harten te stansen uit Real Red cardstock. De vlinder komt uit een prachtige nieuwe stansenset, maar hierover binnenkort meer. 

To decorate the card I used the Many Hearts Dies to cut these beautiful hearts out of Real Red cardstock. The butterfly comes from a new amazing die set, but I will tell you more about this soon.
